Candy Cane Joe Joe's
I was shopping at Trader Joe's and my niece suddenly goes crazy for this box of cookies. They are chocolate cookies with a creme filling speckled with crushed up candy canes, called Candy Cane Joe-Joe's. I guess they only sell them during the holidays and it was a rarety to find them now. Basically they're chocolate and peppermint. And unfortunately, they're really good. I mean really good...
So we buy them, she eats just a couple, and then goes home and leaves the box with me. I thought that if I put them on enough surfaces to take photos, I won't eat them....

Spaghetti and non-meatballs
I was in the mood for something spicy, but didn't feel like shopping. So I looked in the fridge and saw a package of Trader Joe's soy chorizo. Perfect! I opened it up, added a bunch of stuff to it and made them into spicy veggie meatballs which I browned and then baked in the oven. With a little spaghetti and some pasta sauce, it was an experiment that turned out pretty tasty! I wish I wrote down how I did these...

Scrambled Tofu
Yes tofu...with cumin, thyme, turmeric, paprika, salt, onion, garlic, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes and toast with avocado. Yum!
